On May 31 the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia approved a draft Memorandum of Understanding between the State Committee of the Republic of Abkhazia for Youth Affairs and Sports and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation in the field of youth policy.
This is reported by the Abkhaz media.
According to sources, the document provides for cooperation between Moscow and Sukhum to develop friendly and partnership relations in the field of state youth policy at all levels.
The implementation of the Memorandum will make it possible to organize exchange visits of representatives of youth organizations and employees of state bodies involved in the implementation of youth policy.
Parties will exchange information on significant events, facilitate the participation of delegations from the Russian Federation and Abkhazia in them and establish the exchange of best practices for legislative support for volunteering and other civil initiatives.
The implementation of educational programs and the implementation of joint projects at the international level in the field of youth policy will facilitate increasing the potential of youth organizations in our countries.
