Registration for participation in the V Youth Forum “Russia – CELAC” which will be held on December 6, 2022 in Moscow within the walls of the Margarita Rudomino All-Russian State Library for Foreign Literature has been opened.
The forum is aimed at deepening knowledge about the cooperation of the Russia-CELAC format as well as developing friendly contacts between youth of Latin America and the Caribbean and youth of Russia.
This year forum participants will be able to become delegates and represent the official positions of countries assigned to them in one of 4 committees:
- Committee on Security and Sovereignty
The working language is Spanish.
The number of delegates is 22.
The agenda is “Prospects for cooperation within the framework of the Russia-CELAC mechanism in the field of nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament.”

The working language is English.
The number of delegates is 15.
The agenda is “Prospects for economic cooperation between Russia and Latin American countries.”

- Energy Development Committee
The working language is Russian.
The number of delegates is 13.
The agenda is “Influence of the energy sector on environment: possible joint actions.”

The working language is Russian.
The number of delegates is 23.
The agenda is “Prevention and elimination of consequences of natural disasters, remote sensing of the Earth.”

Working languages of committees are Russian, English, Spanish.
The Russia – CELAC Youth Forum has been held annually since 2018 at the initiative of the Iberoamerican student clubs of MGIMO University, the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, the National Research University Higher School of Economics, the International Center of the Student Council of Moscow State University, the Iberoamerican Cultural Center of the Margarita Rudomino All-Russian State Library for Foreign Literature and the multinational group of Latin American students from different universities of the Russian Federation.
In 2022 the forum is organized by the MGIMO World Energy Policy Club, the A.V. Makarenko Economic Club of MGIMO Oeconomicus and the MGIMO Space Diplomacy Club.
Since 2020 the forum has been held with the support of the National Youth Council of Russia.
