Acceptance of applications for participation in the Russian-Balkan Youth Forum has been opened. It will be held from December 13 to 16, 2022 (arrival day is December 12, departure day is December 17) in Ryazan and will bring together youth leaders from Russia and the Balkan countries motivated to develop youth cooperation and launch joint projects.
The purpose of the event is the development of Russian-Balkan youth cooperation, the strengthening of friendly and professional ties between youth leaders of Russia and the Balkan countries.
The work of the forum is planned in the following areas:
- international cooperation: state and prospects,
- academic cooperation: state and prospects,
- joint initiatives in the field of culture, tourism and media.
A candidate to participate in the forum must meet the following criteria:
- be between the ages of 18 and 35,
- have citizenship and reside in Russia or one of the Balkan countries,
- be a representative of a youth public organization / a representative of an informal youth association / a representative of a public organization dealing with issues of international youth cooperation / a representative of a student organization / a young scientist / a student or a graduate student majoring in “International relations” / a young journalist / blogger / a young entrepreneur or a start-up author / a young compatriot living abroad,
- be ready to work on the development of Russian-Balkan cooperation,
- be motivated and able to organize events, projects and programs after the forum in cooperation with other forum participants,
- be ready to take part in all events planned as part of the forum program,
- be able to speak Russian or English.
The forum’s working languages are Russian and English with simultaneous translation.
