The Pushkin Institute invites everybody to become ambassadors of the Russian language

The Pushkin State Russian Language Institute with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science is conducting a new recruitment of volunteers for the International Program “Ambassadors of the Russian Language in the World”.

After special training volunteers go on educational expeditions to foreign countries where they conduct interactive classes in the Russian language, culture and literature with schoolchildren and students. They themselves get acquainted with the culture and traditions of the host country.

Participation in the program is free!

Organizers provide ambassadors of the Russian language with:

  • transfers to foreign countries,
  • accommodation,
  • food,
  • teaching materials,
  • souvenir products,
  • branded clothing for classes.

Students, graduate students and young professionals aged 18–30 with experience in volunteering or teaching, who know and love the Russian language and culture, who want to develop in the field of intercultural communication and international relations, are invited to participate in the competitive selection.

The first stage of selection is absentee. Applications for participation are accepted until 23:59 Moscow time on June 24. The second stage is face-to-face as a part of a major youth forum.
