Youth activists of the post-Soviet space are invited to participate in the project “Unbowed”. The unique project dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the Victory is being implemented by the International Lomonosov Club with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation. On June 11-22 the educational program will be held to preserve historical memory and harmonize interethnic relations in Russia and Belarus.
Who can take part?
100 activists of youth, public and volunteer organizations from the CIS countries as well as Abkhazia, LPR and DPR, South Ossetia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Bulgaria and Serbia aged 18-23 who scored the most points in the competition.
Where will the program events take place?
In Russia – the hero city Moscow, Nelidovo, the city of military glory Volokolamsk, the city of military glory Rzhev, the city of military glory Vyazma, the hero city Smolensk.
In Belarus – Khatyn, the hero city Minsk, Baranovichi, Brest, the Brest Hero Fortress.
Key activities of the program:
- visiting memorials and memorable historical places,
- press conferences on the basis of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus,
- solemn ceremonies of the reunion of the Eternal Flame,
- exchange of knowledge and methods of projects for the preservation of historical memory and the harmonization of interethnic relations with guests from the CIS countries and neighboring countries.
Participants will together unfurl the world’s largest Victory Banner.
