Moscow will host international conference on protection against destructive influence on youth in social networks

On December 8–10 Moscow will host the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Prevention of destructive social impact on youth on the Internet in social networks”.

The purpose of the event is to discuss the best practices for preventing and counteracting the destructive impact on young people on the Internet in social networks.

The following presentations are scheduled within the framework of the conference:

  • Principles of influence of information technologies on mass consciousness, 
  • “Overton Window” as a technology of destructive influence in social media, 
  • Methods of information and psychological influence used by extremist and terrorist movements, 
  • The system of security of educational facilities in modern conditions, 
  • Mechanisms for searching for destructive resources on the Internet, 
  • Prevention of interethnic and interfaith tension, 
  • Network movements and destructive subcultures as a threat to Russian youth.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and MIREA – Russian Technological University.

Representatives of foreign educational organizations (management and faculty), employees of state institutions, representatives of public organizations, etc. are invited to participate. 

Participation conditions: transfer (from the airport / railway station in Moscow to the venue and back), program, accommodation and meals – at the organizers’ expense.
