From December 22 to 25 the Russian-Moldovan Youth Forum was held in Moscow in a hybrid format (online and in person). The program includes expert sessions, a master class and excursions.
The purpose of this event is to create opportunities for close dialogue between young people of two countries, cooperation between youth associations of Russia and Moldova.
At the opening of the Forum the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Russia, Grigory Petushkov, delivered a welcoming speech: “Moldovan-Russian cooperation is multifaceted including cooperation through the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS Member States which contributes to the disclosure of the creative, educational, social, spiritual and moral potential of young generation, the consolidation of youth social movement, the strengthening of friendship, mutual understanding. I hope today’s meeting will help build up cooperation between our countries and give impetus to the development of new ideas and projects.”
Also, the opening of the forum was attended by Rodion Kokaev, the Deputy Head of the Department of International Youth Cooperation and Tourism of the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Marin Marchel, the Head of the Youth Affairs Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Moldova, Goncherenko Sergiu, the Charge d’Affaires of the Republic of Moldova in the Russian Federation.
Organizers from the Russian Federation are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, “MIREA – Russian Technological University” – the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth (RTU MIREA), the National Youth Council of Russia.
