On June 8-14 the traditional International Youth Forum “Eurasia Global” will be held in Orenburg. As part of it the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund together with the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and the National Youth Council of Russia will hold a grant competition for foreign individuals and an international youth media school.
According to the website of the Gorchakov Fund, the grant competition for foreign individuals is aimed at developing bilateral or multilateral cooperation with Russia. This Fund will support the best projects in this area with grants in the amount of 200,000, 300,000 or 500,000 rubles.
The deadline for accepting applications is 23:59 Moscow time on April 1.
Participants can be:
- foreign young participants of the “Eurasia Global” forum (18-35 years old),
- Russian compatriots living abroad, participating in the “Eurasia Global” forum (18-35 years old).
The competition will be held in three stages:
- acceptance of competitive applications on the website of the Gorchakov Fund until April 1 inclusively,
- preparation for the defense of projects, online master classes on project activities from experts from the Fund, the National Youth Council of Russia and Rosmolodyozh (April-May),
- Presentation of projects before the competition committee on the sidelines of the “Eurasia Global” forum (June 8–14).
Applications for participation in the grant competition of the Alexander Gorchakov Fund will also be evaluated by experts from Rosmolodyozh. Rosmolodyozh will provide the authors of the seven best projects with travel expenses for participation in the “Eurasia Global” Youth Forum.

International youth media school
The International youth media school is a project of the Alexander Gorchakov Fund and partners bringing together young journalists, PR specialists and representatives of NCOs from different countries.
Participants of the media school on the fields of “Eurasia Global” are waiting for discussions about the structure of the modern information space, meetings with leading experts in the field, practical exercises on creating media content, master classes in data processing and visualization, master classes on the basics of media literacy and fact-checking, promoting their projects in social networks.
The deadline for accepting applications is 23:59 Moscow time on May 1.
The working language of the media school is Russian.
Participants can be:
- journalism students,
- journalists, bloggers, editors of media and online portals (18-35 years old),
- young political scientists and international affairs specialists with publications in the media (18-35 years old),
- managers, employees and representatives of NCOs operating in the field of international cooperation (18-35 years old).
The list of participants is formed on the basis of a call for proposals.

- attach links to several author’s or joint publications / stories / podcasts in the media to the form.
