An application company for participation in the 2nd Forum of Youth Initiatives of Russia and Azerbaijan has been announced. It will take place on September 19–22, 2022 in Nizhny Novgorod.
The purpose of the event is the presentation and implementation of effective mechanisms for practical interaction between young leaders of Russia and Azerbaijan in the field of humanitarian cooperation. The forum is aimed at strengthening cooperation and developing partnerships between the youth of Russia and Azerbaijan.
The event will be attended by 100 people from Russia and Azerbaijan. They will be representatives of youth public organizations, leaders of youth movements, students of educational institutions of higher education as well as representatives of structures and departments implementing youth policy in Russia and Azerbaijan.
Within the framework of the forum are planned:
- plenary session on opportunities for youth in Russia and Azerbaijan,
- network session in the format of thematic zones (volunteering, self-development, leadership, education, international programs and forums) with the participation of representatives of relevant departments and youth organizations and the presentation of youth projects and programs in Russia and Azerbaijan,
- lecture part on social design,
- project work in teams and presentation of projects on the topics of youth tourism, volunteering, self-development and leadership,
- cultural excursion program.
Organizers of the event are:
- from the Russian side – the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Higher Education “MIREA – Russian Technological University”.
- from the Azerbaijani side – the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Candidates to participate in the forum must meet the following criteria:
- be between the ages of 18 and 35,
- be a citizen of Russia or Azerbaijan,
- have knowledge or experience on the subject of one or more thematic areas of the forum,
- be interested in the development of projects on youth bilateral cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan,
- be ready to work actively throughout the forum as well as to take part in subsequent work and events.
The working language of the forum is Russian.
The deadline for accepting applications is 23:59 Moscow time on August 31, 2022.
