From December 6 to 9, 2021 the Russian-Uzbek Youth Forum was held.
Representatives of the Government of the Samara Region, the Committee of the Federation Council on International Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the National Youth Council of Russia, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and others addressed participants with a welcoming speech at the opening.
The Chairman of the National Council G.V. Petushkov noted the following: “The potential of Russian-Uzbek youth cooperation is undoubtedly great. We hope the mutual interest of youth of two countries will lead to promising mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.”
Participants also managed to work on the following topics: “Youth media and social networks”, “Russia and Uzbekistan – prospects for cooperation and challenges”, “World 2.0: ecology, digitalization and visual culture”, “Analytics, research and prospects: young science in Russia and Uzbekistan” and “Prospects for the development of youth: business, ecology and projects in culture”.
Organizers of the event on the part of Russia are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “MIREA – Russian Technological University” (RTU MIREA), the National Youth Council of Russia, Information and Analytical Center of Moscow State University for the Study of Socio-Political processes in the Post-Soviet space, the Project Office for Digital Development of the Samara Region and the Government of the Samara Region.
