On November 19-20 a delegation of the Russian Federation consisting of six people took part in a meeting in Minsk as part of the preparations for the Forum of Youth Organizations of the CIS Member States. The delegation included the heads of large public associations of Russia.
As part of the event a working meeting was held at the Republican Youth House on the interaction of youth organizations where leaders of youth and children’s public associations discussed a number of issues on the implementation of joint projects and cooperation in the CIS.
The Forum of Youth Organizations of the CIS Member States is held annually. It is an international communication platform aimed at strengthening relations in the field of international youth cooperation in the space of the Commonwealth states. The purposes of the event are revealing the creative, educational, social, spiritual and moral potential of younger generation, consolidating youth social movement, strengthening friendship, mutual understanding and interaction between the peoples of the CIS Member States, supporting integration processes in the CIS.
The forum has been held by the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS Member States since 2015.
