The Office of the UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth has opened the recruitment of the next generation of Young Leaders for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As stated in the message of the Office the mandate of the Young Leaders lasts 2 years. During this period they engage young people in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda not only through their initiatives, platforms and networks, but also through the opportunities provided by the UN and its partners.
The title of “Young Leader for the SDGs” is the symbol of UN recognition of outstanding young people who make a significant contribution to the implementation of the SDGs in their communities.
The closing date for applications is March 31, 2022.
