Organization of the meeting of the Russian-Azerbaijani working group (archive event)

Since 2020, the meeting of the Russian-Azerbaijani working group in the field of youth policy has been held annually in Azerbaijan and Russia.

The key topics of the meetings are the implementation of the Plan of joint activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the field of youth policy.

In 2022 the third meeting was held, where the results of the implementation of state youth policy in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022 were announced. The issue of developing and approving the Plan of main events between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan for the implementation of youth cooperation for 2023 was considered.

Also, as part of the event the participants learned about the activities of major youth organizations of the Russian Federation and attended the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the All-Russian Prize for Youth Achievements “Young Time – 2022”.

Participants: The composition of the Russian-Azerbaijani working group in the field of youth cooperation from the Russian Federation included representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Department of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for interregional and cultural relations with foreign countries, Rosmolodyozh, the Fourth Department of the CIS countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the National Youth Council of Russia. It was also attended by the representatives of the All-Russian Social Movement “Volunteers of Victory”, the expert club “Digoria”, the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth. The representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Youth Foundation, the Union of Volunteer Organizations of Azerbaijan, the National Council of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Public Organization “Debates in Civil Society”, the Parliament of Azerbaijan Republic from the youth sector took part from the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The event was attended by 22 people.

Key results: The third meeting of the Russian-Azerbaijani working group on cooperation in the field of youth policy was held.

According to the proposals received in the draft protocol, it was decided to recognize as satisfactory the implementation of the Action Plan between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan for the implementation of youth cooperation for 2022, take note of information on the results of the implementation of state youth policy in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022, the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and the Youth Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan to exchange information materials on a regular basis in the field of implementation of state youth policy in Russia and Azerbaijan. It was also announced the parties to consider the draft Plan of the main events between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan for the implementation of youth cooperation for 2023 and approve it in the first quarter of 2023, the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Youth Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan to coordinate the place and time of the fourth meeting of the working group, to take into account information on the implementation of projects of youth public organizations.
