Russian-Venezuelan youth meeting online (archive event)

Russian-Venezuelan youth cooperation is carried out in accordance with the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Venezuela on cultural and scientific cooperation of May 24, 1996.

The main goals of the meeting are strengthening friendly ties and developing cooperation between youth of Russia and Venezuela, discussing the possibilities and formats of bilateral youth cooperation in 2023.

Participants: young people aged 18 to 35 including leaders of youth movements, representatives of youth public organizations, students of educational institutions of higher education as well as representatives of structures and departments implementing youth policy in Russia and Venezuela. More than 36 people participated there.

Key results: within the framework of the meeting the representatives of the delegation exchanged information on the current situation in the field of Russian-Venezuelan youth cooperation and bilateral relations, discussed possible formats for bilateral meetings and events in person in 2023.

As a result of the meeting agreements to hold in the first half of 2023 the meeting of representatives of the largest youth organizations and state bodies of Russia involved in youth policy and humanitarian cooperation in Caracas and the 1st Russian-Venezuelan Youth Forum in Moscow were reached.
