On March 2-4 the “Mobile Cadres of Russia” held in Moscow the largest Russian personnel event in the road construction industry. An international seminar-meeting on the topic “Human resources in the road sector: potential, development, prospects” was conducted at the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation with the support of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, the Federal Road Agency, the Ministry of Education of Russia and the ministries of education of almost all the subjects of the Federation.
The meeting was attended by 140 leaders from various sectors of the economy, public and private construction companies, educational institutions and authorities.
Vladislav Shamin, the Chairman of the “Mobile Personnel of Russia”, noted the problems of shortage of personnel and individual specialists in the road industry today have become catastrophic.
According to him, realizing the scale of the problem, in anticipation of the increase in the pace of construction of the “Europe-Western China” highway, the organization is making every effort to solve the problem of providing personnel for peaks of production work.
“But the incorrect formation of admission control numbers in regional educational institutions ultimately poses a great threat to the implementation of federal projects. A striking example is the passenger collapse in Vladimir,” V. Shamin explained.
He stressed that the “Mobile Personnel of Russia” has a clear plan on how to find the best solution to the current situation.
