Acceptance of applications for participation in the International Youth Forum of the CIS Member States on the Sustainable Development Goals has been opened!
The International Youth Forum of the CIS Member States on the Sustainable Development Goals will be held on October 13-16 (arrival day is October 12, departure day is October 17) in Moscow. It will bring together SDG Youth Ambassadors, representatives of youth associations, leaders of the youth social movement, young professionals, representatives of government agencies and international agencies actively involved in the promotion and implementation of the SDG in the Commonwealth.
The purpose of the event is to develop cooperation and consolidate youth efforts of the CIS Member States to facilitate the work to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and benchmarks for sustainable development in their countries and the world.
The work of the forum is planned in following areas:
- education and science,
- innovative development,
- social entrepreneurship,
- environmental sustainability,
- responsible consumption,
- health and wellness,
- volunteering.
All the participants must:
- be between ages of 18 and 35,
- have citizenship and reside in the territory of one of the CIS countries,
- be SDG Youth Ambassadors, representatives of youth associations, leaders of youth social movement, young professionals, representatives of government bodies and international agencies actively involved in the promotion and implementation of the SDG in the CIS,
- be able to work in Russian,
- be motivated to take an active part in the forum and be involved in educational process,
- be interested in developing cooperation for the implementation of the SDG in the CIS,
- be ready to work on the dissemination and enhancement of the knowledge gained during the forum,
- be ready to take part in all events planned within the framework of the forum program.
The working language of the forum is Russian.

The forum is held jointly by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the National Youth Council of Russia and the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth (“MIREA – Russian Technological University”) with the support of the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS Member States and the UN Information Center in Moscow.
